July School Holiday Archaeology at Collingwood House
Event description
Archaeology is the study of how people lived in the past by looking at old things they left behind, such as tools, buildings, and other items.
What skills does an archaeologist need? How do they go about investigating a site? Are there any local sites that have been investigated by archaeologists and what have they told us?
Come along to our school holiday workshop, get hands on and meet Liverpool City Council's Heritage Officer to understand a day in the life of an archaeologist.
Bookings open Wednesday 25th June at 12 pm
Suitable for ages 8- 15
Only children participating in the workshop require a ticket. Parents/carers do not require a ticket.
Please also note additional parking is available at Liverpool Regional Museum (a short walk from Collingwood House)
