Join us for the next Rainbow Holstein Book Club gathering on 5th June at 6pm to discuss this month's chosen title: Saltblood by Francesca de Tores, at The Book Cow in Kingston! 🥳
Saltblood - de Tores' debut novel - is a lyrical historical fiction. 🌊We follow the liquid life of Mary Read; flowing through sailor, soldier, pirate, lover, prisoner. The protagonist stumbles across familiar names; Anne Bonny, Calico Jack, Blackbeard... but it is her life, her story, her emotions and family and self, that we spend time with.
