    Event description

Come along to a free guided meditation and talk this Sunday at Umina at 10am.

Rachel O'Rourke, a trained Calm-Abiding Meditation teacher, will lead the meditation and a special talk on Mindfulness of Speech.

She will talk about how to become more mindful of our speech, both to others and to ourselves, so that it brings greater kindness, warmth and benefit.

Rachel has taught meditation for over 15 years, and has also studied Buddhist philosophy extensively during this time.

This meditation and talk is suitable for beginners, and also for experienced meditators who wish to enhance their practice. You are welcome to sit on a cushion or chair.

The entry is free, but donations are welcome to help us continue to offer classes and workshops, and periodically invite Tibetan Buddhist teachers to give teachings. The suggested donation for a session is $10.

You are welcome to stay afterwards for a cuppa and chat, and if you can, please bring along something to share for morning tea. We look forward to seeing you there!
