Contact Improvisation at Jungle Ballina

A 3-Week Series in Contact Improvisation

Contact Improvisation is a mindfulness-based movement practice and form of improvised dancing. We work with all planes of movement and the physics of the body - shared weight, momentum, counterbalancing, as well as somatic principles around deep listening. The dance itself can range from subtle to acrobatic.

This series is designed for you to build up skills week by week, but it is also possible to attend a drop in class.
