Jungle Dance

Event description

You desire a sense of ease and freedom of mind, body and spirit…

…yet the constant mental chatter blocks you from being present and accessing those deeper parts of yourself that want to be set free.

Mesamadre welcomes you to the transformative and empowering journey of Jungle Dance.

A 60-minute practice, set to an exhilarating playlist, followed by a 30-minute community gathering led by facilitator Leila Yazbek, offering a chance to connect with yourself and others.

No choreography, mirrors, or rules, Jungle Dance is a guided, primal, free-flowing expression of dance, movement, and meditation. Supporting your journey into your body to let go of all that does not serve, expressing your truest YOU.

Talk therapy will only take you so far…

Unless you drop into your body you will remain stuck in the prison of your mind.

How do we move towards a sense of liberation?

We enter a space to safely reconnect with our hearts, harness the medicine of music, tap into our primal instincts and MOVE.

So looking forward to seeing you...Here's what to bring

  • Water bottle
  • Yoga mat or beach towel
  • Journal and pen
  • Mug / keep cup for tea

Location / Wet Weather

  • The precise location in Centennial Park will be sent on the morning of the event.
  • In case of wet weather, the location will be moved indoors and the address sent the night before or the morning of the event (if not earlier)

A love note from your facilitator...

Hi beautiful ones,

I look forward to guiding you on this practice as we venture from our minds, into our bodies and move and play. No experience or coordination is necessary. Your eyes will be closed most of the practice (if you choose) allowing you to fully drop into your body and move from the inside out. This is not about how you look... rather, how you feel. As my almost 2-year-old niece sings... we're gonna 'shake our sillies out'!

See you soon!

With love,

Leila x
