If you've never been to Jungle Love before, you're in for a treat; however, it isn't as simple as rocking up and spectating. If you're purchasing a ticket, you play an integral role in creating the special vibe the festival has become acustomed to. We ask that you bring your best self with you, be prepared to participate in every way possible. Whether that be through making your neighbours feel welcome, creating one funky costume to add to the atmosphere, joining in on our improvised jam stage, bringing a few extra gifts to give to random people you come by, and being prepared to make friends with neighbouring campsites before you leave.
Over the years we've become renowned for throwing a proper party, with a lineup fully handpicked from around Australia and the world, comprised mostly of artists the "mainstream" is yet to discover, as well as a few acts each year that are more well known. You won't find any one genre dominating the festival. The idea is to provide a smorgasboard of musical delights across many genres, with the one key ingredient that binds them all together being a high quality performance.
Jungle Love is a fully Leave No Trace festival. The philosophy acknowledges that all of the waste generated at the festival came with us in our vehicles, and therefore, it can all go with us in our vehicles when we leave. Every year we collectively do better and better. Let's see if this year we can leave it absolutely spotless.
Once again we are a fully BYO festival. No Glass is allowed however, and we do check at the gate and confiscate any glass. So come prepared, and start collecting containers to put your booze in throughout the year so you're not buying single-use plastic solely for that purpose.
If you've gotten this far and it all sounds like your perfect kind of festival, then strap yourself in and come and be part of Jungle Love 2022. Capacity is barely increasing at all in 2022 so tickets will be highly limited.
Jungle Love Festival is now governed by Jungle Events ltd, a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to provide music and arts events that benefit the community. All profits generated from Jungle Love must go back into the running of the festival. We made this change because we recognise that the only way this festival can run is with the countless hours contributed from hundreds of people each year and that if there is to be profit generated, it should go back to into serving the community that are responsible for making the festival operate.
