Event description

Join other junior astronomers this Sunday for an exploration adventure.  After a warm up activity we divide into two groups

- First Step Astronomers are 6 and under and hosted by Naomi with an activity covering some first concepts in astronomy.

- Junior Astronomers are 7 - 12 and hosted by Peter who covers topics that focus on the science behind our astronomical universe.

This month we will start in the Planetarium to see Matariki rise and then divide into our groups. First Steps group will create their own star with Naomi, and the juniors will explore the Universe to discover all the different 'things' that are in it and how they are related to each other.

Recommended age 4+. Advanced 6 year old can join the Juniors.
