Event description

Do your kids enjoy birdwatching?

If so, they will love our Junior Birdwatching activity these school holidays. Learn all about Tidbinbilla’s amazing flying fauna and try to spot your favourite species.

Bring walking shoes, water and sun protection.

Suitable for ages 5 to 15.

The Reserve is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm during Non-Daylight Savings Time (Winter), and from 7:30am to 8:00pm during Daylight Savings Time (Summer), every day except Christmas Day (closed).

The Reserve may be closed on days of total fire ban, severe weather events or for management requirements.

Visitor Information Centre

Drop in to the Tidbinbilla Visitor Information Centre to find out what you can do in the park, collect a map, buy some snacks or ice cream or ask a question.

Please note, the Tidbinbilla visitor centre does not accept cash. Card payments only.

Opening hours: 9am to 4pm every day except Christmas Day (closed)
Find us: We are about 2.7 km south of Tharwa via Naas Road, Tidbinbilla Reserve Road, Paddys River (off Paddys River Road via Cotter Road or Tidbinbilla Road via Point Hut Crossing/Tharwa)
