Junk Journal & Chill: A Cosy Night Out
Description
About
Join us for a night of connection, conversation and mindful crafting!
If you're a junk journalling pro or have never heard of it before, this free event is for you! Bring along your latest junk journalling project or come and learn a new hobby.
Enjoy crafting something new whilst connecting and sharing with others. Bring a friend or come alone - this low-effort activity provides the perfect space to meet new people!
How it will work
We will provide a short junk journalling 101 overview and provide you with some inspo for your designs!
We will also provide the basics including scissors, glue, magazines, coloured paper and textas/pens. Snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the session. We encourage you to bring along any of the following you have available:
Any 'junk' you have collected - e.g. photos, magazines, stickers, receipts, tickets
Bring along your own journal if you have one (if not we will have some paper available)
Any other items you would like to use in your junk journal!
You will then have the session to chat, eat and create with like-minded people.
This event also runs alongside BreastScreen Victoria's Women's Mobile Health Clinic's visit to Sale. A nurse practitioner will be joining us to share information about the range of sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing services available through the mobile clinic, and can answer general questions about accessing support and making appointments.
Enjoy some weeknight fun and join us for a wholesome evening!
