Event description

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation and community. Bought to you by Stanley Collective, Black Dog Ride and the National Centre for Farmer Health.

Just A Farmer is a film told through the eyes of a grieving farming family, this award-winning Australian drama shines a light on the mental health struggles often faced in silence across rural communities.

At once raw and compassionate, the film has sparked important conversations across the country—offering a space to acknowledge hardship, honour resilience, and advocate for real change.

Enjoy a comforting meal on us and gather with others to reflect, share stories, and take part in a much-needed conversation.

This is a free community event, but bookings are essential (please don't book and not turn up as numbers are limited).

Due to the emotional themes explored in the film, this is an 18+ event.

6pm - Doors open and free dinner

7pm - Screening commences
