Following the screening, a panel discussion will be hosted and moderated by Dr. Lucie Shanahan, Albury Wodonga Health's Chief of Mental Health. This discussion will offer valuable insights into mental health issues specific to regional and rural settings and provide information on available support resources.
The panel discussion will combine the following representatives:
- Leila McDougall, Writer, Producer and Lead Actress of Just a Farmer
- Stacy Read, CEO - Lifeline Albury-Wodonga
- Jarryd Williams, Program Manager Community Recovery and Resilience - Gateway Health
- Russell Maher, Nurse Practitioner (Mental Health) - Albury Wodonga Health
This will be an opportunity for you to provide a question and have it answered by the panel on the night. You can submit your question in the ticketing process.
Please note due to the nature of the screening an age restriction of 16 years and older will apply. Attendees aged 16-17 years must have a legal guardian present. Canapés and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided after the movie screening and before the panel discussion. This event is a dry event, and no alcoholic beverages will be available.
