K-2 Disco

Event description

The highlight of the K-2 school year is here – the DISCO!

Held on Friday June 18 from 5-7pm under the school COLA, K-2 students will have a ball dancing the night away with their friends. The theme is neon and glitter so a white or light outfit will ensure the kids glow.

TICKETS

Entry is $10.00 per child and includes: a glow stick, temporary tattoo, and crazy coloured hairspray. The 75c booking fee on each ticket goes to Humanitix and helps support disadvantaged indigenous students.

When booking your child’s ticket, you also need to book a free ticket for the accompanying parent/guardian that will be attending the event. Numbers are restricted due to covid. An accompanying adult can supervise more than one child, but all children must be under the supervision of a responsible adult that they know.

This is a K-2 student disco. Unfortunately, siblings must remain home due to Covid and restrictions on ticket numbers. A disco for 3-6 students will be held later in the year.

FOOD

We are excited to announce that Antico Pizza Truck will be serving a variety of delicious pizzas for you to purchase on the night.

A selection of snacks will be available at the canteen. It is recommended that you pre-order the snacks to ensure you don’t miss out on the night. Click here to pre-order.

TASK

TASK will release all K-2 students who attend on Friday June 18 to a responsible adult so they can attend the disco. Please email TASK in advance to organise this for your child/children.

REMINDERS

Please be aware that this is a P&C event, which will be run with the assistance of parent volunteers. The K-2 disco has the approval of the principal; however, teachers and volunteers will not be providing supervision. As such parents are responsible for supervising their own children and must remain on school grounds for the duration of the K-2 Disco

The K-2 disco is a family event, and following Department of Education rules, the consumption of alcohol on school grounds where children are present is prohibited.

It is also a covid safe event. We ask that all adults use the QR code at the entry gate to register themselves and their child/children’s presence on school grounds. Please remember to keep your distance, adopt good hand hygiene practices and use the hand sanitiser available. If unwell, please stay at home.

CANCELLATIONS

A refund is available if you cancel your child’s ticket up to one day before the event. This can be done via your email booking confirmation for this event. If the event is cancelled due to covid restrictions, an email will be sent to all ticket holders which will include information on obtaining a refund.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The P&C will need help from some volunteers on the night to ensure the kids have a blast. If you’re able to lend a hand, click here to sign up.
