Course Description: Introduction to Hollistic Therapy for Wāhine!
Embark on a transformative two-day journey into the art of Miri Miri Ronga massage, a holistic therapy that emphasises the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Designed for aspiring practitioners, this course introduces key concepts and techniques essential for providing an effective and soothing massage experience.
Day 1 focuses on foundational skills, including identifying contraindications to massage, mastering essential techniques like chair massages and pressure point techniques, and understanding the cultural significance of Rongoā and Miri Miri. Participants will engage in hands-on practices, guided demonstrations, and collaborative learning environments to build confidence and enhance their skills.
Day 2 builds on the knowledge gained, allowing participants to expand their techniques and deepen their understanding of flowing massage sessions. Emphasis will be placed on relationship-building principles, as well as providing feedback and reflection processes to enhance learning. Through practical exercises and group activities, participants will develop a comprehensive approach to addressing clients' needs while maintaining a safe and professional environment.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to demonstrate proper body positioning, apply hygiene protocols, and engage clients effectively, making them ready for practical application in holistic therapy settings.
