2025 Great K Valley Cycle Adventure

Think scavenger hunt, map reading and puzzle solving by bike as you explore the trails of Kōpūrererua Valley. The largest urban wetland restoration in New Zealand, the valley is packed with history, wildlife and great cycling and walking trails and sites of significance to Ngāi Tamarāwaho. Get your friends and family together to enjoy a fun few hours as you search for clues and get to know the valley.

Dress up if you choose, enjoy crazy games along the way and look out for the friendly Swamp Monster. Extra points will be awarded if you can guess his or her identity.

There are lots of prizes, including a voucher for a bike.

Buy your ticket here at just $40 for a team of up to six. Sign in and start your hunt any time between 10am and 12 midday on Sunday 13th April at the 17th Avenue entrance (beside the skate park) to Kōpūrererua Valley. You need to finish by 2pm and prize-giving will begin 2.30pm.

Money raised will go towards Rotary’s annual planting of thousands of native plants. You’ll be helping restore the Valley’s original vegetation and the habitat of our native birds, fish and other wildlife as well as a valuable carbon sink.
