KAB TAS Waste and Recycling in Practice Seminar and 2026 Tidy Towns Awards

Join us for a practical seminar exploring waste and recycling challenges, solutions and opportunities relevant to Tasmania.

The program will cover increasing participation in FOGO services, an update on Tasmania’s container deposit scheme, a regional construction and demolition recycling case study, best practice waste facility operations and lithium battery management.

Designed for people working in local government, waste and recycling, and sustainability, the seminar will bring together practical experiences and lessons learned, with time for audience questions and discussion.

Following the seminar, join us for the 2026 Keep Australia Beautiful Tasmania Tidy Towns Awards presentations and lunch, celebrating achievements from across the state and providing an opportunity to connect with speakers and fellow attendees.
