Application form for Food Trucks, Market Stalls or Swap-meet

Limited power supply available and allocated on a first-come basis. Vendors must provide all necessary power leads

and ensure they are tested and tagged to current Australian Standards.

Kettles and other kitchen appliances are not permitted at market stalls. Stallholders may use the kitchen hot water

urn for personal use at no cost; no power fee applies.

1. Indemnity

The Stallholder agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified the Kadina A.H. & F. Society Inc., its servants, agents, committee members, volunteers, and each of them, from and against all actions, costs, claims, damages, charges, liabilities, and expenses whatsoever arising out of, or in any way connected with, the Stallholder’s participation in the Kadina Pre-Loved Fashion & Makers Market.

2. Site Allocation

Stalls and sites will be allocated at the discretion of the event organisers. Stallholders must operate only within the boundaries of their allocated site. No site may be altered, extended, or relocated without prior approval from the Kadina A.H. & F. Society Inc. or the designated event coordinator.

3. Electrical Safety

All electrical leads, cords, and appliances used on site must be tested and tagged in accordance with current

Australian Standards and Work Health and Safety Regulations. Stallholders are responsible for ensuring that all

electrical equipment is in safe working order and correctly installed to prevent trip hazards.

4. Pack Down and Departure

Packing up or dismantling stalls must not commence before the official conclusion of the event. Stallholders are

required to remain set up and trading until the advertised closing time unless otherwise directed by the

organisers for safety or operational reasons.

5. Marquees, Gazebos & Shelters

Stallholders using a marquee, gazebo, or other temporary shelter on outdoor sites must ensure that the

structure is erected securely and safely. All shelters must be suitably weighted or tied down to withstand wind

and weather conditions.

6. Housekeeping & Waste

Stallholders must keep their site and surrounding area clean, tidy, and free from rubbish and litter at all times.

Waste must be bagged and disposed of in designated bins or removed from the venue by the Stallholder.

7. Behaviour & Conduct

All Stallholders must conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner. Abusive,

aggressive, or violent behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event and exclusion

from future markets.

8. Child Safety & Public Welfare

Stallholders must operate in a manner that upholds a child-safe and family-friendly environment. They are

responsible for supervising any children within their care and must report hazards or welfare concerns to event

organisers.

9. Food, Beverage & Consumable Sales

Any Stallholder selling food, beverages, or consumable products must comply with all relevant Council of the

Copper Coast and SA Health regulations. Correct food handling, storage, and labelling procedures must be

followed at all times.

10. Insurance

The Kadina A.H. & F. Society Inc. does not provide insurance cover for Stallholders or their property. Stallholders are encouraged to hold their own Public Liability Insurance (minimum recommended coverage $10 million). Food or beverage Stallholders are required to provide proof of current insurance before participating. A copy of the Certificate of Currency must be attached to the application.

11. Weather / Event Cancellation

The event will proceed in most weather conditions. However, in the event of extreme weather or safety

concerns, organisers reserve the right to alter, postpone, or cancel the event. No refunds will be issued for

weather-related cancellations beyond the organisers’ control.

12. Refunds / Withdrawals

Stall fees are non-refundable once an application has been accepted unless the event is cancelled by the

organisers.

13. Vehicle Access / Bump-In & Bump-Out

Stallholders must follow directions from event marshals regarding vehicle access, setup times, and site

movement. No vehicles are permitted to remain within the market area during public trading hours.

14. Noise / Music / Amplification

Music, microphones, or amplified sound must be approved by organisers prior to the event and kept to an

acceptable level that does not disturb neighbouring stalls.
