Kaiela Arts After School Open Studio Program for Young Mob

Looking for a space to get creative and connect with other young mob?

Join us at Kaiela Arts for our 6-week Open Studio program, created especially for local First Nations teens. This is your space to relax, create, connect and explore what inspires you.

You'll get the chance to spend time with amazing artists and mentors from Kaiela Arts and hear about their creative journeys, experiences and knowledge.

Each week, you'll have access to a fully equipped studio with heaps of art materials, tools, and equipment to experiment with. Try your hand at ceramics, painting, drawing, printmaking, or create something completely your own. There's no pressure, no grades, and no right or wrong way to make art, just the freedom to explore your ideas and express yourself.

Whether you're already making art or you've never picked up a paintbrush before, you're welcome here. Come and meet new people, connect with culture, connect with local artists, and let your creativity flow in a supportive space that celebrates who you are.

Suitable for ages 13-18 years - mob only!
