Kāpiti Startup Weekend

Event description

We wanted you to be the first to know that tickets are available for Startup Weekend Kāpiti 2021, which for the first time will be run online and as an extension of Startup Weekend Taranaki on the weekend of the 12th, 13th and 14th of November. Next weekend!

Maybe you’ve had a niggly idea that won’t leave you alone. Or you’ve been itching to collab with your friend in another town on a project. Well now you have no excuse, because together with our mates in Taranaki, we are laying it all on for a fully supportive online Startup Weekend. 

As someone who has done some epic mahi at Startup Weekend before, we wanted to reach out to see if you want to participate this year. Or forward this note to friends or colleagues who you can see living their best life at Startup Weekend. 

For those in the area, there will be an option to regroup for a beer at the end.

Startup Weekend is an event where designers, developers and problem solvers come together to share ideas, form teams and launch startups. They have a chance to learn how to think, work and build like a startup—in 54 thrilling hours. Watch a recap from our last event here! (You might see some familiar faces.)

The five previous Kāpiti Startup Weekends have been very successful events and have contributed significantly to the development of Kāpiti’s startup and innovation community.

Startup Weekends are specifically designed for entrepreneurs interested in receiving feedback on an idea, looking for a co-founder, or who want to learn a new skill. We also welcome anyone looking to test the entrepreneurial waters.
