KARAOKE KIDS PARTY - Winter Edition!

Do you have a favourite song you LOVE to sing?  
Maybe a BFF you love to sing with?
Do you love to watch people sing & perform?

If you answered YES to any of these, then you should grab your friends and come along to this fun, encouraging and inclusive night of MUSIC & FUN!

WHEN: Friday 5th July 2024.  6:30pm - 8:30pm.
WHERE: Groove Connections HQ Warriewood
COST: $50 - includes event activities + pizza & drink for dinner (please indicate any dietary requirements on booking)
WHO: Children 8 yrs - 13 yrs.  All genders & abilities   encouraged to participate.
PLEASE BRING: Water bottle, a positive attitude, and wear your fav party clothes.

WHAT WILL THE NIGHT LOOK LIKE?

     6:30pm: Welcome 
     6:35pm: Some musical 'get to know you' games.
     6:45pm: Group vocal warm up
     6:55pm: How to manage performance anxiety & How to be a good audience member
     7:05pm: Quick break - Take seats and start to eat pizza
     7:15pm Karaoke starts - We will pull all of the names out of a hat to determine the performance order
     8:25: Wrap Up
     8:30pm: Finish

All participants are encouraged to choose a song to perform at the event (you will be asked for your song choice when purchasing tix - everyone gets one choice ONLY).  
You can perform solo or with a friend or two - whatever you would prefer.

Once you have chosen your song, have a few practice runs at home and choose your outfit for the night!

The session aims to:
- Create opportunities for participants to develop their knowledge and skills in singing technique. 
- Encourage fun & enjoyment through musical expression.
- Increase self confidence and identity as participants perform their favourite songs.
- Promote kindness, and develop social skills as as we cheer each other on throughout the performances.
- Support & encourage new connections and friendships with other participants in group.   

GROOVE CONNECTIONS is passionate about creating engaging programs for participants which are FUN, supportive, uplifting, encouraging and FULL of MUSICAL AWESOMENESS!!!
We promote kindness and empathy and often weave this through our programs in an effort to create a safe create space for people to express their awesome musical selves.
