Karaoke with an Accent #3
Event description
🎤 Karaoke with an Accent #3: Singing for Justice
Rainbow Migrants’ signature event returns to Connections Nightclub for its third edition — and this time, we’re
raising our voices for justice, joy, and pride, with over $1500 in prizes up for grabs!
Join us at Connections Nightclub on Saturday, 17 May — what better night to sing with an accent than during the Eurovision Grand Final, the very event that inspired the first Karaoke with an Accent?
This year’s event also proudly coincides with IDAHOBIT — the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination and Transphobia. At a time when hateful voices are growing louder around the world, it’s never been more important to raise ours — in protest, in pride, and in joyful resistance 🌈✊🏽
🎙️ What to expect
- A karaoke stage open to all skill levels — it's not just about singing; bring your heart, message, and creativity. Whether through vocals, visuals, costume, or performance, it’s your story that matters most.
- Lip-syncing - powerful expression, creative performance, and connections to the theme, your culture, migration journey, or identity. It’s not about perfection — it’s about impact!
- Over $1500 in prizes!
- A fabulous drag host and judging panel
