    Kat Flowers

Kat is one of Meanjin’s (Brisbane) most passionate advocates for heartfelt, story-based music. A folk musician drawing inspiration from artists such as Missy Higgins, Florist and The Milk Carton Kids, her gentle vocal lines and melodic guitar work are interwoven with personal stories crafted into touching songs.

Opening for artists such as Winterbourne, Tom Snowdon, and Rowena Wise, Kat has a knack for creating deep connections with her audiences. She balances the clear vulnerability in her music with touches of humour, making for an engaging and warm experience.

Kat Flowers is here to bring you the audio equivalent of touching grass. She's packaged up some sad little feelings inside some sweet little folk songs for you to enjoy.

    Georgie Taylor

Georgie Taylor is a vibrant singer-songwriter who fuses indie, folk, soul and pop to create music that nourishes the soul, heart and mind all at once. Inspired by artists like Sammy Rae and the Friends, Joni Mitchell, Missy Higgins and Lizzy McAlpine, the Meanjin-based artist is known for captivating audiences with her honey-like vocal tone, infectious melodies and electric live performances. Her lyricism artfully weaves deep vulnerability with light-hearted wit, offering an authentic storytelling style that resonates with optimists and deep-feelers alike.

Georgie uses songwriting as a therapeutic tool to navigate the messy, process the painful, and celebrate the beautiful in life & love - often beginning in uncertainty before emerging with newfound wisdom and self-acceptance. Through this journey of introspection, Georgie transforms her personal experiences and discoveries into richly relatable songs that explore themes of self-love, queer joy, patriarchy, relationships and the absolute chaos of life in your twenties.

Georgie will be joined by her beloved friends/musical collaborators Bess Egerton (bass), Alex Lamont (drums) and Cat Gallagher (keys) to share a harmony-filled band set for this sweet show ❤️

    Natural Aura

The Meanjin based Singer/Songwriter natural aura is a down to earth pop-folk acoustic musician. She faces the reality of her emotions with brutal honesty and isn't scared to battle ugly truths. She shares her work because she understands that other people struggle to find the words, so with her poetic tendencies, enriched harmonies and acoustic guitar she finds it for them. She takes pride in creating safe and welcoming spaces for everyone to come find a home in her music. With the rollout of her debut project ‘it all falls together’, natural aura is ready to make her own community in Australia's music scene.
