Kate Jenvey Art Class - Benalla Street Art Festival
Event description
Kate Jenvey’s story beautifully blends her deep love for nature, Africa, and art. Her childhood in East Africa clearly shaped her artistic vision, fostering an admiration for wildlife that became central to her work. As a realistic oil painter and pencil artist, she channels this passion into creating vivid representations of nature. Her artwork isn’t just a celebration of wildlife, but also a powerful tool for conservation, using her platform to raise awareness about important environmental issues. Her focus on conservation within her work speaks to the heart of her mission—preserving the beauty she grew up with and helping others connect with it.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Kate will be hosting a kids' animal drawing workshop as part of the Benalla Street Art Festival. This exciting opportunity will allow young artists to learn from Kate herself, while exploring their creativity and passion for animals in a hands-on, interactive setting. It’s a perfect way to inspire the next generation of nature lovers and artists!
Workshop is for 12 - 18 years old.
