Event description

UPDATE AT 16 SEPTEMBER 2020 - WE HAVE REACHED OUR ZOOM WEBINAR LIMIT, THE WEBINAR RECORDING WILL BE UPLOADED TO OUR WEBSITE IN THE WEEK FOLLOWING THE LIVE WEBINAR.

As part of BERL’s pro-bono mahi, we are taking a deeper look at how the kaupapa of organisations may be more explicitly communicated and understood.

In organisations, decision-makers make choices and take action in pursuit of the organisational strategy. The strategy serves the mission, and the mission guides the organisation toward a vision of the future. Above all of this is the reason for doing everything – an ultimate purpose, a kaupapa.

Our webinar will discuss what kaupapa means for social enterprises, Māori organisations, and Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, which balance purpose and profit. Panellists for the webinar include:

  • Traci Houpapa – Federation of Māori Authorities
  • Louise Aitken – Ākina
  • Tim Jones – The Grow Good Guy.
