Event description

Members and guests of the Kansas City section of the Institute of Food Technologists, you are cordially invited to join us in celebrating the students in our section as they continue to prepare for careers in food science and technology.  The event will take place in the Tadtman Board Room of the KSU Alumni Center (second floor, 100 Alumni Center, 1720 Anderson) and will feature IFT President, Dr. Chris Daubert, as the key-note speaker.   The evening will include a networking hour starting at 5:00 pm followed by dinner at 6:00 pm.  During the evening KCIFT will also recognize our 2025 Student Scholarship Recipients.

The dinner menu, catered by OneEgg, will include Santa Maria Salad, Wood-Fired Creamy Chicken, Cilantro Rice, Roasted Vegetables & Aji Dip, French Bread, and Bourbon & Baker Cupcakes.  There will be a card-only bar for select beverages (beer and wine).

After dinner, we will be treated to a program by Dr. Daubert who will be discussing "Career Exploration and Navigating a Path in the Science of Food: Making an Impact with Your Passion".  We will also have the pleasure of having Jasmine Cooper from IFT Marketing in attendance.

Early bird ticket prices are available until March 25th. Prices will increase on March 26th for KCIFT members, non-members and guests.

We look forward to seeing you all on April 2nd!
