KCR’s Blues In The Night is a one‑night‑only celebration of powerhouse contemporary blues at Kiama Leagues Club, bringing together three exceptional acts for an unforgettable evening.

Headlining the event is The Frank Sultana Blues Band, led by Memphis International Blues Challenge winner Frank Sultana, whose raw, soulful sound and electrifying stage presence have earned him national and international acclaim. Joining him are Jr & the JewelTones, a seasoned blues outfit delivering swinging grooves, sharp guitar work and deep blues grit, followed by Shane Flew & Matt Ross, recent winners of the Sydney Blues Society Solo/Duo Challenge, known for their warm, honest, Americana‑infused blues and roots.

More than a concert, Blues In The Night is a fundraiser supporting KCR — your volunteer‑run, community‑powered radio station. Every ticket sold helps keep local voices, local stories and local music on air.

Kiama Community Radio (KCR) is a non-profit community-based organisation run by volunteers. KCR is an online radio service produced by local residents for the communities in the Kiama Local Government Area communities from Minnamurra in the north to Gerroa in the south and Jamberoo in the west.

Initially launched in July 2020 as a podcasting service, KCR has now produced over 700 podcasts that document the life of the Kiama Municipality community. KCR is now streaming live to air 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

KCR provides podcasting and broadcasting training to people of all ages, giving the local community a voice. KCR provides local artists a new platform to connect with their audiences; businesses an alternative way to reach their customers and community groups a chance to promote their activities.

KCR aims to grow into a live-to-air, FM community radio station, reach wider audiences and be recognised as a valuable community resource.
