Event description

The Hive Gallery and HAPI (Heritage-culture arts Promotion Inc) invites citizens to experience the Nellie Hamilton Story in Sculpture and Cultural Arts. The new Nellie Hamilton Centre in Crawford Street gives this community a unique opportunity to acknowledge this incredible Aboriginal Elder. Nellie Hamilton was born in the 1830’s and died at Rusten House, Queanbeyan Hospital in January 1897. This event is spread across three weekends from 10-25 May and is open from 10am-2pm.
