Webinar Series: Lead. Connect. Prepare- Disaster Preparedness for Community Organisations
Description
Lead. Connect. Prepare.
Wednesday 11 November 2026 | 9:00am–10:00am AEST | Online
Business continuity is not only about having a plan. It also depends on clear leadership, strong relationships and knowing what matters most when normal operations are disrupted.
This practical webinar looks at the leadership and partnerships that help community organisations remain resilient and keep essential services operating.
We’ll explore:
Who owns preparedness and continuity within your organisation
Which services need to continue during disruption
Who is affected if your organisation cannot operate
The people, partners and services your organisation depends on
How strong networks can support continuity and recovery
Participants will also work through the practical “If We Close, What Happens?” activity, considering what disruption could mean after four hours, one day, three days and one week.
Facilitated by Stephen Woods from Employee Wellness Australia, with Ready Together.
You’ll leave with a clearer picture of your critical services, organisational dependencies and practical actions that can strengthen your preparedness.
This session is part of the Keeping Services Open: Preparedness for Community Organisations webinar series, based on the ACOSS Six Steps to Disaster Resilience.
