Event description

With more frequent extreme whether events being part of Australian life, we need to be more vigilant in turning our water supplies into sustainable systems, withstanding such shocks.

As bushfire season is upon us, Water Research Australia is launching our Extreme Events webinar series. The three-part webinar series on bushfires, floods, and drought will investigate historical learnings and the impact they have had on the sector, while exploring opportunities for new systems thinking that helps us be prepared for future events.

The first webinar will be held this month with the next two webinars to follow in February.

Join us for the first part of the series, Bushfires: Keeping the water on during and after extreme events, on 30 November, to hear from experts in managing water quality and quantity in extreme climates, and be part of the discussion with our panellists who will answer your key questions on how we can best prepare for future challenges.
