Event description

We are renewing the Kelly Street landscape, between Atkinson Street and Drummond Street in Chadstone, and invite local community to get involved with the project.

Council’s Parks and Gardens and Sustainability teams will be planting 41 new trees and over 2300 native shrubs, grasses and flowers. The planting will support the local environment and provide many benefits to local community and wildlife.

Come along to help plant and play an active part in improving the local environment and creating more beautiful urban green spaces to enjoy.

REGISTRATIONS ESSENTIAL

  • No gardening experience is necessary.
  • Please wear weather appropriate clothes and close-toe shoes.
  • Any children under the age of 18 are welcome to participate and must be accompanied and supervised by an adult guardian.
  • If you have gardening tools and gloves, please bring them along. Council can provide additional tools and gloves to those who need.
