Kerala Tourism is the Department of Tourism of the Government of Kerala, promoting the southern Indian state as ‘God’s Own Country’. Located between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats, Kerala offers a diverse range of attractions, from tranquil backwaters, beaches and lush hill stations to wildlife, Ayurveda and wellness, vibrant festivals, traditional art forms and distinctive cuisine. Its compact geography also makes it possible to combine a variety of destinations and experiences within a single visit.

Kerala Tourism places a strong focus on responsible and sustainable tourism, with initiatives designed to create economic and social benefits for local communities while protecting the state’s natural and cultural heritage. Through its Responsible Tourism Mission, travellers can discover village life, local cuisine, traditional crafts, cultural activities and lesser-known destinations alongside Kerala’s established attractions. The tourism department also promotes new and diverse ways to discover the state, including wellness, nature, adventure, culture and regional experiences across Kerala.
