Keys of Gold Festival 2026

Explore the hidden gems of the Bendigo region through an exciting program of classical music performed by top-stream international and local artists and showcasing historic venues and their precious heritage instruments.

Presented by Bendigo Fine Music, the Keys of Gold Festival brings to life the beauty, history and artistry of Bendigo’s musical heritage. From historic churches to intimate settings, every performance promises a rich and immersive experience.

Led by internationally acclaimed organist Thomas Heywood, featured artists include, much-loved soprano Merlyn Quaife AM, British-born pianist Yasmin Rowe, Japanese-Australia flute player Masahide Kurita, Chinese-Australian cellist Yelian He, French organist Johann Vexo, Bendigo-born, London-based violinist Patrick Savage, baroque violinist Lizzy Welsh, the Australian Boys Choir, artists from Melba Opera, trumpeter and composer Louisa Trewartha, French horn player Roman Ponomariov, Bendigo’s Fourth Harmony Brass and the Bendigo Chamber Choir, plus representatives of more than 15 Victorian choirs combining for a massed choir event.
