At Bridges to Burkina we work with rural villages in Burkina Faso, Africa to combat poverty, Illiteracy and health issues by implement plans designed to create ownership, long term sustainability and growth rather than static dependence.

You will get to learn about:

• A Learning Place -
  Our first school, the Kouka Marie Academy, in Tanghin Dassouri that was completed and opened in 2022
• Beans and a Hoe -
  Our sustainable agriculture program in the village of Kaya that started with 5 women and currently has 75 women participating with a waiting list of over 250
• Two Goats -
  Our sustainable Livestock program that currently has 25 women participating with a waiting list of over 350
