KID-O : Navigation fun in the Park for Kids
Event description
Activities with a difference to grab your kid’s attention - and all without a screen in sight!
KID-O will offer a number of activities to help children learn basic navigation skills through games and nature play.
Children will learn how to find north, make maps, learn to appreciate nature and have fun while getting out in the bush with their friends and family.
KID-O's target audience is children aged 0-8 however children of all ages and their parents will enjoy the activities on offer.
Come along and visit one or all of the range of attention grabbing challenges that have been designed with your kids in mind.
This is a taster of the exciting new national program called Kid-O which has been developed by Teacher, Artist and Orienteer Bridget Uppill
Arrive any time between 1000 and 1130 to start your experience. Stay for an hour or so and enjoy the experience. We will be packing up at about 2pm.
“Navigation Adventures with Maze” will also be on at the same location. Why not plan to double dip at the same venue?
