KIDS CAN SAVE LIVES with Central Coast First Aid.
Kids Can Save Lives is a simple yet practical course. It is designed and delivered to reinforce and instill confidence.
Learn life saving skills whilst having fun!
Join us for a practical fun-filled session, hands on practice and role plays!
This course is aimed for primary school-aged children. A parent/guardian must remain on site – tea, coffee and optional gardening tools will be provided if you would like to help in the garden during the workshop. Participants receive Certificate of Attendance.
The program is specifically designed to help children learn age-appropriate first aid knowledge to help them know how to respond to an emergency.
Areas covered include
- Recognising an unconscious person
- CPR
- Calling an Ambulance
- DRSABCD
- provide basic care to a casualty
- recovery position
- bandages, abrasions, snake bite
- bites & stings
- allergic reactions eg to insects, plants
This course could help save the life of a loved one, friend or neighbour and is generously subsidised by Kariong Eco Garden.
