KIDS CAN SAVE LIVES with Central Coast First Aid.
Participants receive Certificate of Attendance.
Kids Can Save Lives is a simple yet practical course. It is designed and delivered to reinforce and instill confidence.
Learn life saving skills whilst having fun!
Join us for a practical fun-filled session, hands on practice and role plays!
This course is aimed for primary school-aged children. A parent/guardian must remain on site – tea, coffee and optional gardening tools will be provided if you would like to help in the garden during the workshop.
The program is specifically designed to help children learn age-appropriate first aid knowledge to help them know how to respond to an emergency.
Areas covered include
- Recognising an unconscious person
- CPR
- Calling an Ambulance
- DRSABCD
- provide basic care to a casualty
- recovery position
- bandages, abrasions, snake bite
- bites & stings
- allergic reactions eg to insects, plants
This course could help save the life of a loved one, friend or neighbour and is generously subsidised by Kariong Eco Garden.
