🌟 Kids Creative Challenge Workshop 🌟

Join us for a fun, interactive workshop led by Bec Nguyen, Director of Upbeat Productions—a creative industries leader awarded the 2022 IPAA Best Practice in Children's Consultation Award and recognised for her work in both arts and tech spaces.

Bec has run community-focused projects across Perth and is passionate about empowering young people to solve real-world problems in creative ways.

🛠️ About the Workshop:

In this 1-hour session, kids will:

✅ Identify a problem in their school or community,

✅ Brainstorm creative solutions in small teams, and

✅ Bring their ideas to life however they like—a poster, a play, a song, a skit, a model… anything goes! They'll finish with a mini pitch to share their solution.

🎨 No materials are required to bring—we’ll provide everything needed (but kids are welcome to bring an iPad or tools if they want to enhance their idea).

👥 Recommended age: 7–15 years

⏰ Date & time: Saturday 24 May, 4pm–5pm

📍 Location: Hillview Intercultural Community Centre, Bentley

This workshop is all about teamwork, confidence, and creative problem-solving, giving young people the tools to make a positive impact in their world.
