Kids Drama and Movement Class in Federal
Description
A nine week program designed to get kids active, creative, and expressive while developing confidence, self esteem, and performance skills.
Each lesson, children participate in dynamic movement activities that encourages them to explore their imagination using their whole body. Through playful theatre games they get to build confidence, creativity and improvisation.
They will engage in play building, drawing on themes that are important to them. Through this, children will learn key performance techniques and get hands on experience using the stage in a low pressure supportive setting.
About the Instructor:
Jacqui is an experienced local teacher of 25 years who has directed and written numerous performances with children. She is also a budding stand-up comedian and regularly practices open improvisation dance and Nia technique dance.
Classes are conducted in a safe, encouraging atmosphere, designed to honour and bring out the absolute best in every child.
Numbers will be capped at 12 children.
