Kids Garden Activities Morning at the Preston Beach Community Garden

We are having a free kids' morning (spring edition!) at the garden on Wednesday, 7 October (making the most of school holiday free time!). Garden and art activities galore including:

• Creating terrariums

• Beading

• Trade a snail

• Making a cement mushroom

• Digging for potatoes

• Make a baked potato

• Garden art

• Make a water filter

• Clay pots

• Posters

Parents can have a cuppa, a sit down and chat with the Garden crew while our Mistress of Merriment, Kathy, will be running the session.

This is a free event but we would love it if you booked so we know how much table space to clear and how much materials we need to organise for everyone. (And how many bickies / scones to get in for the parents' morning tea!)

Dress for getting grubby! Not too much that they'll need to be hosed down afterwards, but just enough to look like they've been at the Garden!
