Kids Nature Club - 31/10/22 - ART IN NATURE - Stony Range

An immersive invitation for children ages 6-12 years to engage, learn and play within an engaging and safe nature space. The sessions run every Monday from 4pm-5pm in various locations on the Northern Beaches. Each session lasts 1hour. Instead of taking the kids home to watch tv, have you thought about introducing a healthy, playful, and motivating activity to help them wind down after school? Offering numerous health benefits, nature kids club programs have been designed to get our kids back outside, engaging with their minds, bodies and environment.

Nature Play is crucial for our children's development - physical, cognitive, social and emotional. Playing outdoors in nature grows creativity, self-confidence, initiative, gross-motor skills, team building and resilience. Being in nature creates a sense of connection, peace and wonder. 

Our activities will amuse, entertain and educate your child in one of Sydney’s Northern Beaches hidden little gems. Come along and meet Sarah, an experienced environmental educator and certified forest therapy guide for a fun afternoon together in nature. 

Activities cost $25 per child per session or $222 for the Term. 

We have a COVID-19 Safety Plan and are committed to keeping you safe.

Details about the facilitator: DR. SARAH BRIKKÉ

Dr. Sarah Brikké is the Founder and Director of Healing with Nature. She is a certified forest therapy guide, a certified first aid mental health aider, an environmental educator and a park ranger. She has successfully completed her PhD in the field of environmental psychology / environmental education, researching the benefits of nature on children (Griffith University, Australia). Healing with Nature is about connecting people to themselves, to nature and to their community. The mission of Healing with Nature is to offer nature tours to improve an individual’s spiritual, physical and mental health by immersing in nature. Healing with nature is an eco certified eco tourism business with EcoTourism Australia.
