Themed based, fully supervised with all staff with working with children’s check, for children 4-12 years old (enrolled in primary school)
Our why:
We’re two Leichhardt mums with two kids each — and like many parents without family nearby, we know how hard it is to get a night out. It’s either skip the outing entirely or bring the kids along and roll the dice on if the evening will be impacted by tantrums, chaos and having to clean up the restaurant floor! And let’s be honest… it’s tough to have an adult conversation when you can’t get through a full sentence without “mum, mum, mum’.
One Saturday morning, standing in the swim school kiosk (yes, LPAC regulars — that was us, bribing our kids with snacks), we decided enough was enough. Right there and then, we came up with Kids Night Out — Sydney’s first kids-only entertainment hub. A safe, fun-filled space for children to have their own adventure while parents enjoy a well-earned breather.
Our purpose is our community:
Through Kids Night Out we are aiming to do our bit to revive our beautiful suburb Leichhardt and support local businesses.
With our monthly events we aim to give families space. For Kids to have the best night ever and give parents a 100% guilt-free break.

Kids Night Out events are priced at cost to make sure we can make them as accessibly as possible for families.
Child Safety:
We do not compromise on child safety. All our staff have working with children check, underwent child safety training and each event has a designated first aid (incl. asthma and anaphylaxis) person attending throughout the night.
