Kids School Holiday Workshop: Storytelling Collage

Suitable for ages 7 – 12 years

This workshop will take budding young artists on a playful exploration of ideas drawn from everyday life. Artist, Nicole Zhang will lead children through the exhibition, Ten-Fold: A Decade of Emerging Art Incubator Artists, then guide them in creating their own unique artwork.

Inspired by details of their everyday life, children will create a collage. Through painting, using stencil patterns, cutting, layering and arranging materials, they will experiment with placing figures and recurring symbols into their compositions, discovering how these elements can be used for storytelling.

Bring a buddy or make new pals in this fun workshop encouraging creative interpretation of the ordinary.

All materials provided. Please bring own refreshments.
