You are in for a musical celebration of 2 joint events! Canberra indie-folk songstress Kim Yang is debuting at The Junk Bar on her BRAVE EP tour, and local talents Miss Elm and Life Is A Myth will launch their new single SPACE DUST.
Kim Yang’s music tackles love, death, and mental health issues with evocative lyrics, driving melodies and ethereal vocals. Miss Elm’s soaring angelic vocals paired with the funky beats from Life Is A Myth is the flavour of ‘Space Dust’ that will take you to a different place touching on out of this world philosophies.

Kim Yang
Having shared the stage with Ben Lee, Katie Noonan Josh Pyke, Kate Ceberano, and performed at National Folk Festival with her band, Taiwanese-Canberran songstress Kim Yang is now on tour for her 2nd EP ‘Brave’ and self-titled vinyl release.
Inspired by Joni Mitchell and Bon Iver, Kim writes music on love, death, and mental health issues with evocative lyrics, driving melodies and soaring vocals. Her ethereal blend of sounds balances delicately between vulnerability and power. BRAVE EP is a collection of heartfelt songs that soothe your soul.
