Event description
Presented by Environment House volunteer Miho Armstrong, this is a hands on workshop where you will be making kimchi. Kimchi is staple in Korean cuisine, a traditional side dish made from salted and fermented vegetables with a variety of seasonings. It is loaded with vitamins A, B, and C, but its biggest benefit may be in its "healthy bacteria" called lactobacilli, found in fermented foods and yogurt.
Bring along a medium sized jar to take some home. All ages are welcome.
