KIN Nature Playgroup, term one, 2023

Our nature playgroup is for families with children aged zero - four years.

​Our sessions are designed to provide children with opportunities to engage in free, unstructured nature play and self-directed adventure. They may choose to climb trees, play in our mud kitchen or even explore the local bushland.  Each session follows a relaxed rhythm that revolves around free play, a shared seasonal story, song-time, and nature craft.

Unlike traditional playgroups, we are a 100% all-weather, outdoor playgroup with sessions running rain or shine.

INVESTMENT

$150 | single child | per term (10 weeks, $15 per session)

$250 | two children | per term (10 weeks, $25 per session)

$350 | family 3+ | per term (10 weeks, $35, per session)

Casual visits- $20 per child​

To make the most of these sessions, we recommend that your child has:

  • Food
  • Water
  • Hat
  • Long pants (compulsory)
  • Short-sleeved shirt in Summer, long-sleeved in winter
  • Closed-in shoes (compulsory)
  • Togs and towel (beach locations)
  • Rain gear (wet weather only)
  • A spare change of clothes
  • Wet bag to put wet clothes in
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug Repellant

Refund policy

SEVERE WEATHER CANCELLATION We are an 'all weather' program, meaning our sessions will go ahead, as long as it is safe to do so. Severe weather may include but not be limited to: • Thunderstorms • Strong winds with the risk of branches falling • Flash flooding • Fire danger If severe weather is forecast, the session may be cancelled in advance (the day before or earlier, when possible) and we will offer you a credit towards another session. However, if a session goes ahead but is cut short due to severe weather we will not be able to offer any credit or refund. WET WEATHER Temporary rain shelters will be erected on rainy days, however, participants will very likely still get wet, which is part or the program. Please ensure that you and your child are appropriately dressed, and pack a spare change of clothing to get changed into at the end of the session. ABSENCE/ SICK POLICY Unfortunately KIN Surf Coast cannot offer refunds or make-up days when an attendee is absent due to illness or other commitments. As our programs fees, costs, resources and staffing are based on particular ratios, refunds will only be issued if a session is cancelled by KIN Surf Coast. PAYMENT OF FEES Payment of fees must be made via Paypal, or Direct Deposit at the time of booking. PROGRAM CANCELLATION DUE TO INSUFFICIENT NUMBERS Programs require a minimum of 10 attendees to go ahead. If a program is cancelled on our end due to minimum numbers not being met, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend another available program or time slot. ABSENCE (sick) POLICY Because fees, costs, resources, and staffing are based on particular ratios, KIN Surf Coast, unfortunately, cannot offer ‘make-up’ days or offer refunds if an attendee is absent due to illness.
