What is Pro Bono Pitch Night?
Kind by Design is all about building a community of generous, purpose-driven brand professionals and creatives who want to use their creative superpowers for good.
Kind by Design events offer a platform for social enterprises and non-profits to share their stories and connect with branding and marketing professionals eager to offer pro bono support. Think a friendlier version of Dragon's Den where instead of pitching for funding, non-profits are looking for your time and talent.
Who are the non-profits involved?
You'll hear inspiring pitches from Woven Earth, TimeOut, Debtfix Foundation, Oke Charity and BirdCare Aotearoa.
Who is hosting the event?
This event is proudly hosted by Kind by Design and supported by 10x10 Philanthropy, which have a shared vision of empowering social enterprises and not-for-profits through in-kind branding and marketing support.
What will the evening look like?
Networking, food and drinks
Social enterprise and not-for-profit pitches (5 social entrepreneurs x 5 minutes each)
Opportunities for connection, conversation, and collaboration
A structured match-making process post-event to ensure successful partnerships

There is no cost to apply to pitch or attend the event.

What kind of projects will I be involved in?
Projects may include, but are not limited to:
Creative strategy, copywriting, content creation, social media strategy, PR or design development
Solo or collaborative work, depending on scope and preference
How do I decide which organisation to support?
You’ll hear pitches on the night and fill out an expression of interest form. Kind By Design will lead a match-making process to ensure a strong and supported partnership.
Do I need to commit during the event?
No pressure! The match-making process happens post-event, allowing you to make an informed decision.
