Description

The Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner invite early career lawyers and their supervisors to join us for a CPD webinar with Dr Nicki Macklin, a researcher, advisor, and speaker focused on the human side of organisational performance.

Recent findings from the Legal Services Research Centre tell us that that while uncivil behaviour is common across the Victorian legal profession, young and emerging lawyers experience higher rates of workplace incivility.

In this 1-hour, CPD-approved online webinar, Nicki Macklin will take supervisors and supervisees through her research and provide practical examples of how to weave kindness into the fabric of your supervisor/supervisee relationships, in ways that improve wellbeing and legal practice.

Kerri-anne Millard, Executive Director of Policy and Outreach at the VLSB+C, will also share evidence-based guidance developed by the VLSB+C to support early career lawyers and their supervisors to get the most out of supervised legal practice.

This session will be of most interest to legal supervisors and supervisees.
