Kindred Spirit: Unplugged Sessions - A gathering for the soul

3 Hours of Music, Cacao, Connection & Kai

Come and listen. Come and be. Come and sit in the infinite circle and receive.

Joydah Mae, Mirai Brown & Bridget Rose are weaving together a tapestry of their unique vibrations. An offering of acoustic melodies & soulful sounds.

Kindred Spirit is a gathering where we come together in full presence to listen & experience the deep and transcendent artform that is music. To remember the core essence of what creation of sound waves truly resonates within.

What if instead of sitting in front of them, we sit around them. What if instead of looking up, we look across, eye to eye. What if instead of relying on sound systems for amplification, we choose to sit in presence and stillness and truly receive the vibrational frequencies of each sound. Each song. Each moment.

This is what Kindred Spirit offers. A space of presence, a space of pure creation, a space of reception, a space of surrender. A place to unplug from the system, and plug into the portal of creation. To honour music in the presence of what it truly is.

Journey with us, and let’s see where the pathway leads us.

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY UPDATE!!
We have recently received devastating news that our dear brother Sean O Duinn (Shane Dunn) from Ireland, has recently passed away. This news has come as a shock and we too are still processing.

Another sister Emily Street is fighting for her life after a heart attack in August and ongoing complications with blood clots, memory loss and other significant impacts of this experience.

These beautiful people have been a big part of our conscious community here in Tāhuna.

In light of this news, we have opened up Kindred Spirits as an accessible community space for anyone and everyone that is grieving, processing or in need of support. As well as for those with capacity to come and hold space for others. In times like these it's important for us to come together. So join us and share in the medicine of music, cacao and food to nourish our souls and hold one another.

Tickets are now open on a koha basis. If you do not have the means and simply wish to join you are welcome.
