The first Kingscote Movie Night is an encore screening of the Kangaroo Island documentaries 'King of the River' and 'Island of the Dead' made by local film-maker Daniel Clarke of Ad Hoc Docs.
$15 for adults, $10 for children

'King of the River' tells the tale of the late Ian King and American River, using Ian King's precious photographic/video collection and archival footage to create a stunning visual journey of the unheralded town that helped build Kangaroo Island while under the stewardship of the tenacious harbour master who governed its industrial hub.
'Island of the Dead' explores the powerful work of KI's first end-of-life doula and beautiful human Heidi Grieg, following the journey of three courageous and inspiring rural women as they confront death in their own unique way.
