The King's Speech is the story of King George VI (Colin Firth) who unexpectedly found himself king after the abdication of his brother (Guy Pearce). Hampered by a severe speech impediment, the King turns to an unorthodox Australian (gasp!) speech therapist (Geoffrey Rush).
The King's Speech is an inspiring, engaging and intimate historical drama which received both critical and popular acclaim. It is rated M due to "coarse language," however the swearing is used mostly as a therapeutic tool.
Stay after the film for a Q&A and trivia.
