Our Kingswood Talks series returns on Tuesday 26 August, 7.00 pm (AEST) with a timely online session exploring concussion and brain health in school-aged children and adolescents.
Whether your child plays contact sport, enjoys weekend bike rides or simply loves an active lifestyle, understanding how to recognise, manage and prevent concussion is essential. Join us via Microsoft Teams for an engaging presentation and Q&A with internationally respected concussion specialist Dr David Munro.
About the speaker
Dr Munro is a physiotherapist with almost 30 years’ experience across community, amateur and elite sport. He holds a PhD from Monash University and is an accredited ImPACT-trained Concussion Physiotherapist. Dr Munro consults widely to schools, clubs and sporting leagues – including the South Metro Junior Football League – on concussion policies and return-to-play protocols. Most recently he co-authored the AIS Concussion & Brain Health Policy in partnership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association, setting the national benchmark for best practice in concussion management.
